How can you help?

We need YOUR help to keep the mural clean and bright into the future

As it says in the headline, we need your help.  Most of all, we need donations to help us to run school and community workshops and to maintain Scotland’s longest historic and heritage mural into the future.  Our planned maintenance programme will see our art team returning at least twice a year (more often if needed), which is likely to cost around £7,500 a year.  See how we're doing on the "thermometer".

Please help us to keep it happening

The total project cost so far is just under £100,000, so it is important to keep the mural kooking bright, fresh and vibrant.  Thank you to all of the local residents and others who have been so generous - see our homepage for details of the grant-making bodies and Trusts who have supported us.

We will continue to ask for maintenance funding from Trusts and corporate donors, but we also need your help!

One way of helping is to buy our souvenir products.  We're currently developing a small range of high quality hand-made products, beginning with tea towels and gift cards, featuring selected images from the mural.  Buying them will help us to continue to take care of the mural.  You can see the range in our online store on BigCartel, https://thecolintontunnel.bigcartel.com/ or on our Latest News page.  All prices include free P&P in the UK.

To donate by cheque please send it to:  The Colinton Tunnel, 10 Allermuir Road, Edinburgh EH13 0HE.  Completing and returning the Gift Aid Declaration (click on the link) will add a further 25% to your donation. Gift Aid
